Imagine rolling into Toledo, The Glass City, with a creative agency crew of ~75 gathering at a sleek downtown venue near the Glass City Center. Split into dynamic pods with two fearless instructors each, their mission? Ditch creative stagnation, spark agile communication, and blow open collaboration.

We kicked off with energetic physical warm-ups—feels like sunlight bouncing off Lake Erie! Then small-group improv drills (4–8 people) sharpened listening, agility, and response skills. Post-lunch? Ensemble mode: teams tackled quirky scenes like pitching to the Toledo Zoo board or resolving a crisis at the Glass Pavilion. Mid-scene shifts forced instant pivots—and everyone rose to the occasion.

By the end, creativity was crackling, messages were unified, and energy hummed like a jazz riff in the Valentine Theatre. Teams walked out connected, inspired, and ready to turn every challenge into a collective play.

We serve the greater Toledo area, including Downtown Toledo, Warehouse District, Old West End, Uptown, University of Toledo area, Maumee River corridor, North Summit Street, Westgate, Franklin Park, Southwyck, Ottawa Hills, Hunting Valley, Reynolds Corners, Perrysburg suburbs

Jeopardy

AKA: “Answer first, question later… and the question is pure improv spark.”

First, have your players cover their ears—don’t let them hear the prompts! Then gather audience-sourced Q&A pairs, like:

  • Question: What color is an American school bus? Answer: Yellow.

  • Question: What is a cat? Answer: A small mammal often kept as a household pet.

You write down only the answers, not the questions.

Once the players drop their hands? You hit them with an answer and challenge them to invent a question—the worst, silliest, or most hilarious possible one that could validly be answered by that clue. It’s like reverse-Q&A on comedic steroids.

Why it’s magic: It flips assumptions, snaps cognitive flexibility alive, and unleashes wild creative thinking. Teams start generating sideways logic, delightfully absurd connections, and audience-fueled brilliance. Use it as a turbo-launch before brainstorming, ideation, or scenario-building.
